Sometimes you get those phone calls that just bum you out....I got one of those today.
Gerry (Gary) Pendleton from Quincy passed away yesterday, Sunday February 15th of complications from pneumonia. For those who remeber or ran back in the day, he raced and towed everywhere with the "Quincy Boys" Burgharts and Schuttes. he drove a maroon 65 Chevelle. Gerry was at the race track last year and had a renewed inspiration to race again. He had recently purchased a truck to race. I remember my last conversation with him and he was so excited to be at the track again. I am very glad I took the time to walk over to the fence and see and talk to him. He will be missed.
visitation will be held Wednesday February 18th from 12:00 to 1:00 pm with services immediately following- Robinson Funeral Home 601 S Henry Clay Blvd. Ashland MO 65010
