i see the site is under construction(this is a good sign) and the nhra is blocked out and nhra doesn't have midstate listed as a member track.please keep us abreast of what is happening at midstate(ihra/nhra/adrl/outlaw) next year so we all can make plans for our 2011 season.

yea if ya didnt know,nhra hasnt posted midstate as a track for months now and rumors was midstate was sold at the steps of the court house

rumors ? does anybody have a picture of the transaction taking place on the courthouse steps or even a copy of a document showing that midstate has been sold ? if you do please post it so we can all see it. 99% of all rumors do more harm than good

as fas as nhra goes my personal opinion is that outside of the bracket finals at indy midstate being nhra or not does not matter, they ( nhra ) are only worried about themselves and continue to stick it to the racers at all the local tracks that support them week after week

I heard john perko is a keyboard jockey who does more talking than racing. No the track is not sold, but ots idiotic remarks with no real base that would make it real easy to get rid of. Mom and jeff have been dealing with the illness and death of jeffs father is the reason theres has not been any updates. Details on the 2011 season will be coming.

sorry for your loss jeff and jacklyn,we feel your pain as we buried 2 uncles this week
as for nhra, zach and me are due for lic renewal.zach no big deal but me is a big deal as i had a steint put in my heart and now i have major hoops to jump through with the doctors and nhra to pass a high dollar physical then there stupid fees for a comp lic/member ship for some mags that never has midstate results in it.if not nhra then i MIGHT save me a lot a $$.if not i'll race w no lic like some that have been doing for years .i do it for the insurance/and to be legal not the bracket finals.if not nhra then i have to run the jrs at a track thats nhra for them to go to bristol and div 3 finals.remember i race 2 jr that recieve no $$ on a win.
ya heard many rumors last year also and the track was still open till the end of season.dont care who owns or runs track,just run it like ya stole it.......110% effert

Looks like to me that Benton does just fine being an Outlaw track. Sounds good to me just as long as there is a place to race. I sure don't go there to support NHRA. I go there to support Midstate. JMO

I agree with Steve. I-57 seems to run a sucessfull operation there for not having a sanctioning body. People can always go to the World Series at Cordova if they want to race something close to the Bracket Finals and not have to travel as far.
