I am selling a 1988 Winnebago Chieftain. Its a 22 footer, powered by a Chevy 454 and a Turbo 400 transmission. 70,000 miles. In the last 2 years it has had new front brake lines, master cylinder, hydroboost, fresh water pump. The tires have less than 600 miles on them. The carb was rebuilt, cap & rotor replaced, new ignition controller and the fuel pump replaced just this year. The dual coach batteries are brand new. It has a hitch and I pull my camaro on a 18 foot steel deck trailer with no problem. Onboard Onan generator with about 600 hours on it. The dash A/C works great. the interior is pretty clean for a 20 year old RV. Roof air, furnace and hot water heater all work great. I put a new coil unit in the fridge ($400) but it still dont want to work right, I believe the circuit board is bad since when you try and turn it on if you wiggle the buttons you can here it coming on and turning back off again. We just use coolers instead. It has a toilet, shower, stove, kitchen sink, lots of storage space, pantry closet, double bed in the back, kitchen table also folds down into a double bed and it has a drop down single bed over the drivers area. This was our first adventure in an RV and kind of a test trial, now we are hooked and are ordering a brand new one so ole Bessie has to go. Asking price $6200 or best offer. email me at chardesty@obrienteam.com for pics or call 309-825-3843. RV is at my house in Danvers, about 10 miles west of Bloomington.
