Would have loved too- but just the cost to haul it over was a little much for now. He has plenty of years ahead of him.....BUT, that doesn't mean I won't come over to cheer on one of the days! ;D

Myself and Les wood are going. Have the tune up done, food and beer. Looking foward to the five hours of sleep for three straight days. Just need my tech card and parking spot.

I just went to the NHRA website, says Midstate is letter H and is going to pit on the West side and to enter at gate 8, thats the same side as Coles County...which will be in the grass, opposite of last year.

The Shofners will be there. Todd Kapp will also be making the trip.
We finished 12th last year as did Windy Hollow the year before. We will probably pitted where Windy Hollow was last year. Not too bad a pit spot really.

Actually, pit spots are chosen at the track owners meetings in January. The track that won gets first choice and so on. Someone else higher on the food chain got our spot from last year. This years spot is a good one right by the end of the west side last grandstand and by the scoreboard. I think you will like it. Also we are beside our buddies at Coles County!! J-
