I heard though the grape vine that 2weelspeed won't be coming to midstate due to lack of racers that would travel to this event. Although im rooting for it, don't think its gonna happen this year. If someone knows different post it so I can spread the word to stl. and here in davenport. bruce

just got off the phone with greg and he said be there and be ready to race.how can we know what the bike count will be if we don't do it.tell all your friends to get the bike count up, if this works great, if not we tried.this is a way to help build the series and racer base.

no pro 400 class at havana but here are the 400 rules All entrants will need to display Generac decals to earn points - they will be provided at each event free of charge. Basic Rules: This class is open to ANY combination with a 9.90 minimum dial in. The class runs on a .400 Staggered Pro style tree. Each bike uses a dial in and break out rules apply just like any ET or index class. It is an all run field that is qualified based on reaction times from both qualifying passes. The field is then set up on a Pro style ladder with lane choice going to the higher qualified racer in the first round. Subsequent rounds the racer with the better reaction time from the previous round gets lane choice. If they are equal, then it goes to who ever is closer to their dial in. If the field has an odd number of entries, the number one qualifier gets the first round bye run. Points are awarded for qualifying as well as round points. Electronics: One change from the past for 2008 is Delay boxes are LEGAL. As this class runs on a pro tree and deep staging is not allowed it will make it easier to let anyone also enter the Box ET class without screwing around between rounds with the box. This can create a safety issue. Let it all hang out here. Throttle stops, progressive nitrous, turbos, D.F.I, auto shifters and data recorders are all legal. Anything that can locate track position is illegal. and street rulesSATURDAY OCTOBER 11th !!
