I see on the track web site that the schedule is differnt today . It did say May 8 was the first non-points race. Now it's a test /tune. Will this year ever start. I know call Bob if any question. Getting old.

people get on here worrying about this or worrying about that, well either call the man that can answer your questions or quit pissing and moaning about it and wait and see.

Bob is still saying that May 8th will be a TNT and a non points bracket race and points will start on the 15th. It also says that the 7th is a TNT and chassis inspection. It's all good except the weather isn't cooperating very well. No TNT this Saturday.  |

No one wants to open more than I do but the weather isn't playing along... Rain, Cold, Wind, Storms... The pit area has a lot of standing water, the consession stand is flooded, Were still having problems with the well pump pumping water to the restrooms, it all takes time and the rain isn't helping any... I've been to the track almost every day working on things.
We just painted the floor in the consession stand to find an inch of water standing on it the next day.
I'm trying to come up with a schedule that will work... May 7th seems good for a Test & Tune and race day because NHRA can't get us a chassis inspector until then, besides when we posted May 8th we forgot about that being Mothers Day.
We want to have at least two Test & Tunes so we can get some rubber down and let the racer get things together.
Were going to work all week if need be to be ready for a Test & Tune next Saturday and Sunday

Guys in 7 years, we haven't been able to start til after Easter. I knew what Bob was wanting by starting early but we Re far enough north it just doesn't and can't happen. Thats why we always started last week of April or first of May. Be ready sounds like you are gonna do a lot of racing this summer! Be home next weekend.( April 30)
