According to my glorified miscalculations Todd Kapp is the winner is super pro and Bob Burghart came in second closely followed by Jerry Burdess and myself in a tie for third and Dave Harter rounding out the top 5. Although Todd took the lead and never looked back we had a pretty good fight going on for second through fourth as the difference was 1 single point! I did not list everyone that was involved in this struggle because i am even less sure of how they finished compared to the top 5.
I would like to thank all of my fellow racers for helping make this race season so spectacular. I would also love to thank everybody that helped fix the car throughout the year as we have had several mishaps. The good news is the car is finally running the way it was earlier in the year, the sad part is the season is over.
I am sorry for not knowing what all exactly happened in pro this season but if you drove by our pits at any time through the year you could tell that we were typically busy. I even recall 2 weeks ago almost missing first rounds because we had the carburetor torn apart fixing what was wrong with the help of Everett Easley and Steve Clark!
