It doesn't matter to me if it is NHRA or not because being NHRA doesn't gurantee safety.
I got hit at Gateway by a guy with no neutral safety switch-a basic safety item that everyone should have and tech staff there was helping him. They did nothing to help me.
This guy's throttle was stuck open,no neutral safety switch and he started it from outside the car
3 rules violations all while tech guy was helping him!!!!!!
OH and by the way that waiver you sign makes no one liable not even an idiot breaking the rules.
All that being said the operators of the track control the safety not the sanctioning body.
