It don't make no differance to me, but I'll bet it makes a differance to every racer that looks forward to be able to go to Indy. Those racers that go to Midstate every week ought to have more voting power as to what they want. If it's the votes that's going to be the out come, I'll vote to keep it NHRA too. Lot of folks looks forward to Indy. Might lose a few racers if they really want to go for the Div 3 finals.

I understand Indy being fun and all but last year Eric Moran got down to the final four in bikes and got a whoppin' 200 dollars... I'd rather the track NOT be NHRA. They dont do anything to support the racers that support them. Just the chefs opinion. I take it you didn't go to INDY yourself? Nor did I but if I ever get to be where I feel I'm good enough as I am a new drag racer I would like to beable to go and represent Midstate Dragway. I vote for NHRA!! Steve

Steve Steve, Yes I have been to Indy almost every year to support our dragstrip. Yes it is very fun as well! I've had the chance to race there also! I just want to be able to race, work and support Midstate wether it is or not NHRA. My vote still stands no NHRA. It would save everybody money they could put into their cars and families. The track would still make sure the cars are up to par and safe to race and they will also be insured the same. Midstate will always be my family no matter what it is though.

By not being NHRA? Do you mean because nobody will have to have a certified chassis or certified seat belts things like that? No since in buying seat belts every two years if were not a NHRA track. Or do you mean lower the entry fee's? How does a outlaw track do things? Would this pretty much be run what you brung? If so it sounds good to me!! STEVE

I dont think its going to be run what you brung. I dont want to pair up with a car that is not safe. I have to much invested in my car to have it wrecked by another car that isnt safe to make it down the track.

How can you guarantee that someone's equipment is safe without it. I'm just asking for the saftey of all. THANKS STEVE

I would think that there is some middle ground between "run what you brung" and some of NHRA's over the top safety rules.

Im sure everyone knows where I stand on this issue. And for those who dont know indy/pomona is like the BTE million no one remembers runner ups!! But all of us are not paying the bills either and Jacklyn (whom iv'e spoke with recently) is tailoring her schedule around other d3 tracks which still leaves the door open to go to indy if your that gun hoe. As I told her on the phone I will still be @ every bike race and double entering S/P also. Not to many tracks you can go run for fifteen hundy on a SUNDAY. My vote is for midstate being open this year BOTTOM LINE.

Just for the record i recieved $100 for getting down to 4 at the bracket finals last year. I was a little dissapointed but I realized long ago I wasn't gonna be able to make a living off of my race winnings. I still had a great time at indy last year and every year I've been able to take part in it. I don't agree with NHRA raising the licensing and membership fees and putting the screws to us (the little guys) but I am still gonna keep my license up to date in case I want to go race somewhere else and I'm sure most people will do the same. So my vote is to stay NHRA!!!

eric, i didn't realize it was that low. with the winner getting $1000 plus $3500 to show up in pomona and a shot at 5k there should be a deal made at 4. kick back a little of that $1000.
