I don't care if it is NHRA or not. I keep my membership up, and my car leagle so i can race anywhere i want. Midstate is my home track, and for the last few years I have raced only there, i will race there as long as they will have me, NHRA or not. Most of the racers i have talked to feel the same.

I am great just having a place to race. It realy doesn't matter to me one way or the other but I know some people are interested in the NHRA type of track so they would beable to run @ Indy.

I understand Indy being fun and all but last year Eric Moran got down to the final four in bikes and got a whoppin' 200 dollars... I'd rather the track NOT be NHRA. They dont do anything to support the racers that support them. Just the chefs opinion.

Being NHRA leaves the door open. Ask Jimmie or Bruce if they like the bracket finals or not. It's also a great time to race as a team instead of beating each others' brains out.

I made it down to four cars in 2008 and recieved $800.If it's a problem raising the $500 to join as stated Saturday night I bet the 32 racers wanting to go to Indy would chip in the additional $16 bucks a piece to cover the $500.At least Eric got 200...I drove to Pomona three times and made it down to four cars every time and didnt bring home a dime for my efforts, but I still want a chance to go again. First, just wanted to say how much I enjoyed racing at Midstate last year. It was my first time racing "full time" down there and I can't say enough about the track, staff and racers - really a great dragstrip with some top-notch drivers.
That being said, Cordova is 30 minutes from my house and even closer for Brian. We chose to drive 2 hours to Midstate for one reason - the chance to race at INDY! Just my 2 cents...
